What is a gas flow meter?
A gas flow meter measures the flow rate of a gas. Interpreting readings requires gas type, units, range and reference conditions to be considered together. SK reviews calibration enquiries for 0.1–100 L/min using Nitrogen, Air or Argon, subject to each instrument's conditions.
Why calibrate a gas flow meter?
Calibration establishes the relationship between instrument readings and reference values, helping users assess suitability for process control or laboratory measurements. Select points relevant to actual use and supply the application's acceptance criteria when requesting a quotation.

Conditions to confirm before calibration
Supply the manual or manufacturer information to confirm whether readings represent operating or reference conditions, together with gas, temperature, pressure, connections and readout signals. Do not compare L/min, SLPM and NL/min without checking reference conditions. The method and applicable range require instrument-specific confirmation.
Preparing result and document requirements
Provide calibration points, acceptance criteria, required document format and any previous certificate. If you require errors, uncertainty or traceability information for an assessment, ask the team to confirm document details and suitability before ordering.

Frequently asked questions
What range is available?
The stated service range is 0.1–100 L/min. The applicable range for an actual instrument depends on its type, gas and job conditions.
Which gases are used?
The method lists Nitrogen, Air and Argon. State the actual operating gas so suitability can be confirmed.
Can SLPM or NL/min be treated as L/min?
Do not assume identical reference conditions. Supply the temperature, pressure and reference conditions from the manual for review.
What are the price and turnaround time?
They depend on the model, gas, range, points, quantity and service conditions. Send details for a confirmed quotation and delivery date.
